Julie has worked locally with high school athletes, as well as internationally with USA Track & Field and USA Softball athletes.
Her clinical approach combines manual techniques to optimize soft tissue and joint function, and specific exercises so the patient learns to care for him or herself. She is fascinated by human biomechanics and how foot alignment affects the whole body. She uses different styles of medical massage to positively affect that alignment. Her clinic is her passion.
Candace Kenyon, MSPT
Candace graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1991 with a Masters in Science in Physical Therapy. She specializes in postural disorders and biomechanical dysfunctions. Her continuing education in Graston Technique and Myofascial Stretching along with 25 years of experience in the clinic gives Candace a wealth of knowledge for your physical rehabilitation. Candace has worked throughout the Southwest in a variety of settings in orthopedics, chronic pain and sports medicine. In her free time she does yoga, runs, and is a professional textile artist.
Jeffrey Cooke, DPT
Jeff graduated from the University of St. Augustine in California in 2016 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He started at Santa Fe Sports Medicine in January 2017. His strong background in manual therapy and Myofascial release gives him a particular expertise in spinal realignment. His abilities improve physical mechanics and function for athletes and lay people alike. Jeff enjoys rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking and other various outdoor sports.
Cameron Brenneman, MPT
Cameron graduated from Cal State University in Long Beach in 2007 with a Masters in PT. As a professional cyclist, he is especially skilled in sports medicine. Cameron uses his skill sets in joint mobilization, dry needling and biomechanics with a full range of orthopedic patients. He has specialties in shoulder, knee, and ankle rehabilitation. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and cycling.
Aurora Downs, BS, PTA
Aurora graduated from UNM in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree that emphasized nutrition, exercise physiology, and psychology. She has worked in outpatient physical therapy since then. Aurora received her Physical Therapy Assistant license in 2015. She uses medical massage techniques for myofascial release combined with individualized exercise for excellent patient outcomes. In her spare time, Aurora enjoys hiking, camping, and yoga.
Sanjay Bardwaj, DPT
Sanjay graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2001 with a doctorate in physical therapy. He is a manual therapist whose skills include myofascial release, joint mobilization, and muscle energy technique for spinal alignment. He has a decade of work in sports medicine especially with professional tennis athletes. This gives him particular focus on neck and shoulder rehabilitation. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and is an avid tennis player.
Front Desk. Jonathan schedules appointments and calls insurances for prior authorizations. He has been employed at SF Sports Med since 2007. If you have any questions, ask Jonathan. He knows how to find an answer for you. Jonathan is a competitive runner and enjoys travel.
Office Manager. Jenny does our billing and collections. She has infinite knowledge about your insurance claims. If you have any questions about this part of the business, ask Jenny. She has been employed at SF Sports Med since 2005. She is an avid Bronco fan and loves camping and fishing.
Physical Therapy Technician. Lisa is one of the most caring people under the sun. She is the one who will set you up on ice or heat and electrical stimulation. She has been employed at SF Sports Med since 2010. Lisa is an animal lover. She enjoys weight training and staying fit as well as spending time with her family.
